Men’s Swimming Earns Sixth at MAC Championships

YORK, Pa. – On Sunday evening, the Messiah University swimming team earned sixth place in the 2025 MAC Championships. The Falcons earned sixth with 616.5 total points in the four-day championships.  The Falcons earned one All-Conference honor on the weekend with a second-place finish from PJ Cronauer in the 1650 free.
 
Sunday, Feb. 16 Update
The Falcons opened the final day of the MAC Championships with their first All-Conference honor. PJ Cronauer earned a silver in the 1650 free with a time of 16:44.29. Logan Radell also added a 14th place finish with a time of 17:52.34.
 
Sage Sobek added an 11th place finish in the 100 free with a time of 49.32.
 
The Falcons added a top 20 finish in the 200 back with Connor Fleming finishing in 20th with a time of 2:10.08.
 
The Falcons finished the individual events in the 2025 MAC Championships with two top 20 finishes. Nathan Book finished in14th place with a time of 2:16.58 and Will Russell finished in 18th with a time of 2:18.84.
 
The Falcons capped off the 2025 MAC Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 400 free relay. The team of Nathan Book, Brayden Trout, PJ Cronauer, and Sage Sobek finished in sixth with a time of 3:16.73.

Saturday, Feb. 15 Update
The Falcons opened day three of the MAC Championships with two top 20 finishes. Dylan Yellets finished in 10th with a time of 2:01.57 and Ben Clarke finished in 17th place with a time of 2:08.98.
 
In the next event, the Falcons added two top 20 finishes in the 100 back. Mitch DiFante finished in 15th with a time of 58.65 and Connor Fleming finished in 20th with a time of 1:00.81.
 
The Falcons added a 10th and 12th place finish in the 100 breast. Nathan Book finished in 10th with a time of 59.24 and Brayden Trout finished in 12th with a time of 1:00.84.
 
The Falcons finished day three of the MAC Championships with a fourth-place finish in the 800 free relay. The team of PJ Cronauer, Logan Radell, Brayden Trout, and Sage Sobek finished in fourth with a time of 7:14.27.

Friday, Feb. 14 Update
The Falcons opened day two of the MAC Championships finals with a sixth-place finish in the 200 free relay. The team of Nathan Book, Connor Fleming, Brayden Trout, and Sage Sobek finished in sixth with a time of 1:29.86.

The Falcons earned two top 20 finishes in the 200 IM. Will Russell finished in 15th place with a time of 4:29.76 and Dylan Yellets finished in 20th with a time of 4:39.09.

Brayden Trout added a top 20 finish in the 100 fly with a time of 54.48.

The Falcons had three top 20 finishes in the 200 free. Sage Sobek led the Falcons in the 200 free with a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:44.89. PJ Cronauer added a 11th place finish with a time of 1:47.61 and Logan Radell finished in 16th place with a time of 1:51.06.

The Falcons finished day two of the MAC Championships with a seventh-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Dylan Yellets, Nathan Book, Brayden Trout, and PJ Cronauer finished in seventh with a time of 3:40.27.

Thursday, Feb. 13 Update
The Falcons opened the 2025 MAC Championships with their top finish of the evening in the 500 free. PJ Cronauer finished in fifth with a time of 4:51.55. Logan Radell also added a 13th place finish with a time of 5:03.48.

The Falcons earned a top-20 finish in the 200 IM with Brayden Trout earning 19th place with a time of 2:02.88.

In the next event, the Falcons earned two top-20 finishes in the 50 free. Sage Sobek earned a 13th place finish with a time of 22.28 and Nathan Book finished in 15th with a time of 22.36.

The Falcons finished day one of the MAC Championships with a seventh-place finish in the 200 medley relay. The team of Dylan Yellets, Nathan Book, Ben Clarke, and Sage Sobek finished in seventh with a time of 1:40.75.
