YORK, Pa. – On Sunday evening, the Messiah University women's swimming team earned second place in the 2025 MAC Championships. The Falcons finished second in the championships with 1161 total points. The Falcons earned 11 total All-Conference honors during the four-day championships.
Sunday, Feb. 16 Update
The Falcons opened the final day of the MAC Championships with two top 10 finishes in the 1650 free.
Keelie Conaway finished in fourth with a time of 18:34.11 and
Samantha Pennell finished in eighth with a time of 18:58.11.
In the next event, the Falcons earned four top 20 finishes in the 100 free.
Erin Goudie led the Falcons with a four-place finish with a time of 53.79.
Kari Mindrebo finished in 10th with a time of 55.43 and
Kendal Wilson finished in 16th with a time of 56.40.
Mattie Brummer added an 18th place finish with a time of 56.74.
The Falcons kept the momentum going with a gold in the 200 back.
Grace Schad finished in first with a time of 2:07.65.
Maddy Price also added an 11th place finish with a time of 2:17.82.
The Falcons had a dominant finish to the individual events in MAC Championships with a strong performance in the 200 breast.
Lexi Lovern earned the silver with a time of 2:26.20 and
Lauren Cotton finished in third with a time of 2:27.23. The Falcons added two more top 10 finishes with
Madelyn Frey finishing in sixth with a time of 2:30.64 and
Makayla Yellets finishing in 10th with a time of 2:33.74.
Hailey Fegan added a 17th place finish (2:40.75) and
Hannah Poff finished in 18th place (2:46.21) to round out the Falcons top 20 racers in the 200 breast.
The Falcons finished off the 2025 MAC Championships with a silver medal in the 400 free relay. The team of

Saturday, Feb. 15 Update
The Falcons opened day three of the MAC Championships with a silver medal in the 200 fly.
Erin Goudie finished in second with a time of 2:07.89.
Makayla Yellets added a 12th place finish (2:21.37) and
Keelie Conaway added a 16th place finish (2:25.23) as well in the 200 fly.
The Falcons continued their great start to day three with a gold in the 100 back.
Grace Schad touched the wall first with a time of 57.72.
Maddy Price added an 11th place finish with a time 1:02.84 and
Kendal Wilson finished in 15th with a 1:04.26.
The Falcons added another medal in 100 breast.
Lauren Cotton touched the wall second with a time of 1:06.63. The Falcons also added three top 10 finishes in the 100 breast.
Madelyn Frey finished in seventh with a time of 1:08.24,
Makayla Yellets came in eighth with a time of 1:09.55, and
Lexi Lovern finished in ninth with a time of 1:09.23.
Hailey Fegan added a 14th place finish with a time of 1:12.19.
The Falcons capped off day three of the MAC Championships with a fifth-place finish in the 800 free relay. The team of

Friday Feb. 14 Update
Falcons opened day two of MAC Championship finals with a bronze medal in the 200 free relay. The team of
Lauren Mock,
Kendal Wilson,
Madelyn Frey, and
Grace Schad touched the wall third with a time of 1:39.72, just beating out the fourth-place team from FDU by .07 of a second.
In the next event, the Falcons had an impressive 400 IM race.
Samantha Pennell led the Falcons with a fifth-place finish with a time of 4:51.69.
Maddy Price also added an eighth-place finish with a time of 5:02.50 to round out the Falcons top 10 finishes.
Lexi Lovern finished in 13th place with a time 5:04.72.
The Falcons earned their second medal of the day with a bronze in the 100 fly.
Erin Goudie finished in third with a time of 58.84. The Falcons also added a 16th place finish from
Kendal Wilson with a time of 1:04.00.
The Falcons earned three top 20 finishes in the 200 free.

Mattie Brummer finished in 14th place with a time of 2:03.66 and
Lauren Mock finished in 18th with a time of 2:05.78.

Thursday, Feb. 13 Update
The MAC Championship final races opened with the 500 free. The Falcons earned four top-20 finishes with
Kylie Wilkinson earning 12th with a time 5:25.72, which topped her preliminary time by four seconds.
Kari Mindrebo also added a 16th place finish with a time of 5:31.22.
Samantha Pennell finished in 19th place (5:30.75) and
Keelie Conaway finished in 20th (5:32.59).
In the next event, the Falcons had an impressive 200 IM race.
Grace Schad led the Falcons with a bronze medal in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.87.
Madelyn Frey finished in fourth with a time of 2:13.40 and
Lauren Cotton finished in fifth with a time of 2:13.42.
Ava Gower added a 20th place finish with a time of 2:30.30.
The Falcons earned two top 20 finishes in the 50 free with
Lauren Mock finishing in 12th with a time of 25.36 and
Hailey Fegan finishing in 15th place with a time of 25.99.
