ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the Falcons earned three MAC Commonwealth Players of the Week, for the week of February 23.
Emma Hagg was named Defensive Player of the week, with an impressive performance in her two games.
Chloe Milanesi was announced offensive player of the week for two strong outings against Stevenson University and Eastern University. Lastly,
Christian Foltz was named Pitcher of the Week for his one game shutout win against No. 16 Randolph-Macon College.
Chloe Milanesi, led the Falcons to another undefeated week in MAC Commonwealth play, wrapping up the Falcons eighth undefeated season in conference play in program history. In the opening game of the week, Milanesi led the Falcons with 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the Falcons 60-31 win over Stevenson. Milanesi continued her great week with 12 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two assists in the Falcons 71-37 win over Eastern.
Emma Hagg, helped anchor a strong Messiah defense. In a 17-12 loss to No. 9 Gettysburg on Wednesday, Hagg led both teams with eight draw controls and added two ground balls and two caused turnovers. In a 17-6 win over Juniata on Saturday, Hagg again led all players in draw controls with nine and also in caused turnovers with five. She collected five ground balls while registering zero turnovers.
Christian Foltz, pitched a complete game shutout in the Falcons 1-0 win over No. 16 Randolph-Macon on Sunday afternoon. Foltz allowed only four base runners on two hits, a walk, and a hit by pitch, but struck out eight batters. Foltz even cruised in the final inning for the Falcons striking out the side to end the game.
