NEWTOWN, Pa. – On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the Players of the Week, for the week ending April 14. The Falcons earned two honors with Women's Lacrosse and Softball.
Emma Hagg picked up another MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week. While
Maggie Chinnadurai earned MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week.
Emma Hagg continues her successful leadership on defense for the Falcons in a 2-0 conference week. In Wednesday's 19-1 win over Eastern, Hagg had seven draw controls, six caused turnovers, and seven ground balls. In Saturday's 23-5 win over Albright, Hagg had three draw controls, two caused turnovers, and three ground balls.
Maggie Chinnadurai was lights out in the circle for the Falcons, leading them to a pair of wins in the 4-0 week. In game two against Marymount University, Chinnadurai picked up the complete game shutout, striking out 13 batters in the 6-0 win. Against York, Chinnadurai came in for relief in game one, striking out two batters through one full inning in the 3-1 win. In game two, Chinnadurai pitched another complete game, striking out four batters and only surrendering one run.
