YORK, Pa. – The Messiah Women's Track and Field team was in action for Day One of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday afternoon hosted by York College. Action for the weekend began with the 10000 Meter Run, 4x800 Meter Relay, and Hammer Throw. Eight Falcons were in action for Day One.
In the 4x800 Meter Relay, the Falcons crossed the line in a time of 9:32.80, claiming second in the event.
Kerrigan Lebo opened the race with a split of 2:25.37 before
Madison Kimmel clocked a time of 2:23.25 to move the Falcons from third to second.
Meagan Kime split a time of 2:24.92 before
Elana Pineda ran an anchor leg of 2:19.27 to cumulate to a time of 9:32.80, earning second.
Ella Swayne was the lone Falcon in the 10000 Meter Run, crossing the finish line in a time of 40:21.87 to finish sixth
In the field, a trio of Falcons competed in the Hammer Throw.
Jaclyn Steenstra was the top Falcon finisher with a mark of 39.51 meters.
Leah Ferster finished with a distance of 37.23 meters while
Sidney Avers registered a mark of 31.50 meters.
The Falcons return to action on Friday, May 2, for Day Two of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference Track and Field Outdoor Championships.
