2024 Season Recap
The Falcons finished the 2024 season with a 14-6-2 overall record with a 7-0 record in MAC Commonwealth play. The Falcons claimed their sixth-straight MAC Commonwealth Championship with a 2-1 win over York to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Falcons defeated Cortland in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament in penalty kicks but fell in the second round to Williams College in double overtime.
2025 Roster Outlook
The Falcons return a strong core of players in the 2025 season. The Falcons return a strong veteran senior group with
Jordan Gilman,
Ethan Gregory,
Harrison Keator,
Patrick Lee,
Davis Pagett, and
Isaac Schmitke all returning.
Matt Griffin,
Sam Phillips,
Davis Rody, and
Matt Schumacher all will play key minutes as returning juniors. The Falcons return MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year
Grant Shreiner,
Kyle Spodnik, and
Gabe Redcay as sophomores that will look to continue to make an impact. The Falcons also have
Killian O'Reilly and
Kessler Forrest as returning sophomore goalkeepers that are battling for the starting spot. The Falcons added eight first-year players to the roster who will look to develop and earn minutes throughout the season.
2025 Schedule
The Falcons open the 2025 season at home against the University of Scranton on Friday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons play 10 games at Shoemaker Field, including the homecoming game against Widener University on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 3:00 p.m. The Falcons play three teams in the United Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top 25, versus No. 17 Claremont Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 5), at No. 8 Dickinson College (Sept. 10), and against No. 9 University of Mary Washington (Sept. 27).
