WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University wrestling team earned seventh place in the 2026 Budd Whitehill National Duals. The Falcons fell in their first match of the day with a 33-14 loss to Ithaca College. The Falcons then won their final match of the tournament with a 34-12 win over Washington and Lee University to earn seventh place.

Dual One: Ithaca 33, Messiah 14
The Bombers won the first five bouts to take a commanding early lead. The Falcons won three of the last five matches with
Keegan Demarest,
Austin Brass, and
Tucker Seidel (Forfeit) each earning wins, but the Bombers earned the 33-14 win.
Dual Two: Messiah 34, Washington and Lee 12
The Falcons started the dual with
Austin Jeffrey earning a forfeit win. After a Generals in the 133 bout, the Falcons won two straight matches with
Jacob Cunningham and
Levi Snyder each earning a win. After a loss in the 157 match,

Tucker Seidel each won their matches to give the Falcons the 34-12 win and seventh place in the 2026 Budd Whitehill National Duals.
