GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University women's swim team dropped a dual-meet against the Red Devils of Dickinson College, 140-122. The Falcons opened the dual with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay and ended the meet with a first and third place finish in the 400 free relay. The Falcons earned 17 top three finishes in the individual races with five gold medals.
Grace Schad led the Falcons with three first place finishes.
Madelyn Frey and
Lexi Lovern each added a gold medal.

How It Happened
The Falcons opened the dual with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay. The team of
Grace Schad,
Madelyn Frey,
Abby Caltrider, and
Rachel Sobkowiak touched the wall second with a time of 1:53.88.
The Falcons opened the individual events with a bronze medal in the 1000 free.
Lauren Edge finished in third with a time of 11:20.24. Edge also finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:33.16 and third in the 100 free with a time of 56.68.
In the 100 back, the Falcons earned the gold and the bronze.
Grace Schad touched the wall first with a time of 1:00.11 and
Maddy Price finished third with a time of 1:07.72. Schad also earned the gold in the 100 free (55.90) and the 200 back (2:14.59). Price added a third-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 5:09.81.
The Falcons added a first and third place finish in the 100 breast.
Madelyn Frey earned the gold with a time of 1:11.46 and
Lexi Lovern finished third with a time of 1:13.94. Lovern added a first-place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 2:37.20 and Frey finished second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:03.01.
Keelie Conaway added a third-place finish with a time of 2:31.49. Conaway also finished third in the 500 free with a time of 5:46.09.
In the 50 free,
Kari Mindrebo finished second with a time of 26.79.
The Falcons added a second and third-place finish in the 200 breast.
Makayla Yellets finished second with a time of 2:43.56 and
Elina Del Castillo finished third with a time of 2:45.33.
The Falcons ended the dual with a gold and bronze medal in the 400 free relay. The team of
