Men’s Swimming Cruises to Win Over Mustangs

GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University men's swimming team cruised to a 145-107 win over Stevenson in the final dual of the 2025-26 regular season. The Falcons opened dual with a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay and finished second in the 200 free relay to cap off the dual. The Falcons finished with 23 medals in the individual races, with eight first place finishes. The Falcons were led by Joseph Duquette with three gold medals. Evan Lamison totaled two first place finishes as well. Nathan Book, Logan Radell, and Austin Turner each added a gold medal.
 
Up next, the Falcons compete in the four-day MAC Championships starting on Thursday, Feb. 12 at the Graham Aquatics Center in York, Pa.

How It Happened
The Falcons opened the dual strong with a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Joseph Duquette, Nathan Book, Dylan Yellets, and Logan Radell earned the gold with a time of 3:47.68.
 
The Falcons opened the individual events with a second and third place finish in the 1000 free. Logan Radell finished second with a time of 10:50.12 and Austin Turner touched the wall third with a time of 10:59.08. Radell also added a gold in the 500 free with a time of 5:11.46. Turner added a gold in the 200 fly (2:17.07) and a bronze in the 500 free (5:27.36).
 
The Falcons continued their strong start with another second and third place finish, this time in the 200 free. Evan Lamison earned the silver with a time of 2:01.21 and John Bajwa touched the wall third with a time of 2:03.93. Lamison also added gold medals in the 50 free (23:58) and the 100 fly (58.42). Bajwa also finished second in the 100 free with a time of 54.88.
 
In the next event, the Falcons finished first and third in the 100 back. Joseph Duquette touched the wall first with a time of 55.44 and Connor Fleming finished third with a time of 1:00.34. Duquette also earned gold medals in the 200 back (2:02.54) and the 200 IM (2:06.62). Fleming added a bronze in the 200 back with a time of 2:18.49.
 
In the 100 breast, the Falcons earned the gold and silver medal. Nathan Book touched the wall first with a time of 1:02.52 and Aidan Lacock finished second with a time of 1:05.78. Book also finished second in the 50 free (24.22) and the 200 breast (2:26.85). Lacock also finished third in the 200 breast (2:28.29) and in the 100 fly (1:02.65).
 
The Falcons added a second-place finish in the 200 fly from Dylan Yellets. Yellets touched the wall second with a time of 2:21.12. Yellets also finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.05.
 
The Falcons capped off the dual with a second-place finish in the 200 free relay. The team of Connor Fleming, Logan Radell, Evan Lamison, and John Bajwa finished second with a time of 1:35.17.
