NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending April 19, 2026. A total of 26 student-athletes were recognized for performances from April 13, 2026 to April 19, 2026. Messiah secured three honors with
Grace Pettitt and
Addyson Wagman sweeping the MAC Commonwealth Women's Lacrosse honors and
Nathan Bowman being named the MAC Field Athlete of the Week for Men's Track and Field.
Nathan Bowman used a phenomenal series in the Shot Put (16.27m, 17.12m, 17.88m, 17.92m, 18.26m, 18.93m) at the Millersville Invitational to shatter a number of records, earning the Men's Track and Field MAC Field Athlete of the Week honor. With his final toss of 18.93 meters, Bowman broke the meet record, facility record, and a 10-year Messiah program record. His mark currently ranks second in all of Division III.
Grace Pettitt was named MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for Women's Lacrosse, totaling eight goals and 10 assists to help lead Messiah to two dominant conference victories of 20-1 and 22-0. On the first goal of Saturday's 22-0 win over Eastern, Pettitt broke the Messiah program record for career assists, in just her junior season.
Addyson Wagman earned MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week honors for Women's Lacrosse after leading a Messiah defense that limited two opponents to just nine total shots on goal during the week. She contributed 10 draw controls, seven ground balls, and two goals across the two victories.
