2019-20 Season – Senior
Wrestled 42 matches for the Falcons… Named a NWCA Third Team All-American… Put together a 36-6 record with five falls… Qualified for the NCAA National Championship’s for the third time in his career (2017-18, 2018-19) by finishing third at 157 lbs. in the NCAA Regionals… Led all of NCAA wrestling with 16 technical falls this season… Holds the program record with 257 career nearfalls after adding 80 nearfalls this season… Won the title at 157 lbs. in the Messiah Invitational… Finished second at 157 lbs. in the Petrofes Invitational… Claimed third at 157 lbs. in the MAC Championships… Recorded 74 takedowns, 17 escapes, and three reversals… Messiah’s season was cut short before the NCAA National Championship’s due to COVID-19.

2018-19 Season - Junior
National Championship qualifier in the 149-pound weight class…Became the All-Time program leader in nearfalls with 207…Wrestled 38 matches for the Falcons…32-6 record…Led the team with 90 nearfalls…Second on the team with 153.5 team points…Recorded 60 takedowns, 18 escapes, and five falls…first at Petrofes Invitational…second at Messiah Invitational… second at Roger Williams Invitational.

2017-18 Season - Sophomore
Went 35-11 overall … second on team with 70 nearfalls … second at Messiah Invite … second at Roger Williams Invite … first at Messiah Petrofes … first at MAC Championships … first at Pete Willson Invite … second at NCAA Southeast Regionals … 2018 National Championships Qualifier.

2016-17 Season - Freshman
Went 20-12 overall with four falls … Second on team with 47 nearfalls … Runner-Up at MAC Championship … Third place at Messiah Petrofes.

High School
Maloney comes to Messiah with a lot of high school hardware. Individually he qualified to the PIAA state championships four times placing sixth both as a sophomore and a junior. He also has a District and Regional title to his name and three team titles.
