Nate joins the AROMA team on a part-time basis, providing programming and coaching for varsity athletics. Nate, a 2014 Falcon alum, is the Director of the Falcon Fitness Center and former Athletic Trainer serving a variety of populations and athletes.
Nate has always had a passion for sports playing as he played lacrosse while studying Athletic Training at Messiah. After graduation, he began working as a Licensed Athletic Trainer and strength and conditioning coach. He obtained his Masters in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania and received his NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist certification in 2016. This education and experience has led Nate to design programs that blend high performance with rehabilitation to help athletes reach their full potential and stay on the field.
One of the best parts of working at Messiah is being able to connect the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of sport. AROMA is very intentional about knowing who’s we are, and why it is a privilege to wear Messiah across our chests. This spiritual connection, in addition to the mental and physical part of sport helps develop deeper relationships among teammates that last a lifetime.
Nate resides in Mechanicsburg with his wife Whitney, and their son Baker.
