Coach Aaron Schwartz is entering his 10th season with the Falcons in 2012-13. A 2002 graduate of Messiah College, Schwartz works primarily with the Falcons' goalkeepers.
A Pennsylvania resident for all his life, Schwartz has been an assistant coach on six of the Falcons' NCAA Division III National Championship teams-- his first coming in 2002. His goalkeepers have won numerous All-Region, All-Commonwealth Conference, and NCAA All-Tournament awards as Messiah College has become a national powerhouse thanks is large part to their defensive prowess.
"The relationship between a goalkeeper coach and goalkeeper is one of mutual respect and friendship," Schwartz says. "I seek to lay a foundation of a strong personal relationship, building on top the technical instruction and intense physical training necessary to reach one's potential. The bond that is formed always leads to a mentally tough individual on and off the field."
Schwartz and his wife Krista-- also a 2002 Messiah graduate-- have three sons: Andrew, Adrian, and Athan.
