Rachel Robison returned to Messiah as a graduate assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country and track & field teams in 2017-18. The 2018-2019 season will mark her second year as apart of the coaching staff. The 2016 Messiah grad was a four-year standout on the women's track & field team in the pole vault during her time as a Falcon.
Robison was a First Team All-MAC finisher in the pole vault in seven of her eight seasons, with a Second Team honor in indoor track & field her freshman year. In the 2014 outdoor season, she set a Messiah record with a vault of 11' 2.5". Before her time as a student-athlete at Messiah was up, she would break her own record twice, with her 2016 indoor mark of 11' 7.75" still holding up as the best in Messiah program history. Robison also finished both her junior and senior seasons ranked No. 34 in NCAA Division III women's pole vault.
During her time as a graduate assistant, Robison will be pursing her Master's in Higher Education through Messiah's graduate school.
