The 2017-18 season marks Kaleb Loht's second season as a gradate assistant coach with the Messiah wrestling program. Loht is a 2015 graduate of Messiah where he became the Falcons' second-ever NCAA Division III National Champion in 2014.

Loht finished his decorated four-year career as the Falcons' all-time wins leader (159), a mark that has since been ecliposed by now-fellow-assistant coach Josh Thomson. Neverthless, Loht's achievements on the mat coincided with a renaissance within the program as the Falcons have become of the premier programs in all of Division III.

During his National Championship run in 2014 he went 48-1 with 14 pins and 120 takedowns. He also won the Mideast Region Championship that season, a feat he would duplicate in 2015. During his senior year Loht went 42-1 overall, with his lone loss coming in the NCAA National Semifinal. He shook off the decision and earned a third-place finish in the next bout to cap off a phenomenal career.

Loht finished 159-13 across his four seasons, and his career takedowns (462) were also a program record when he graduated. He was also a standout in the classroom where he earned a CoSIDA Academic All-American honor in 2014.

In his one year away from Messiah Loht worked as an assistant wrestling coach at Mifflin County High School.

As a graduate assistant with the Falcons he will be pursuing his Master's of Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletics Management.
