Career Highlights - Summary
11: Before losing the 2nd semester to injury, he was on his way to a dominant season...won two tournaments and made the finals in a third and tied for the team lead with 9 pins on the season.
10: Continued to be one of the Falcons top perfomers...led the team in takedowns with 67...regular seasoned was highlighted by wins over two National Qualifiers...bumped to 174 and placed 3rd at the conference championsips, nearly qualifying to the NCAA's.
09: Proved to be one of the teams most accomplished first year wrestlers winning 22 matches and spot starting. Showed great athleticism, work ethic and confidence and will be an exciting part of Messiah near future.
HS: Amassed 142 wins, qualified to the state tournament four times, placed in states twice, and was the 2008 Maryland State Champion.
Personal
Son of Matt and Becky Cross...one of eight children...also enjoys playing guitar and juggling...won the MAC championship in pole vault for Messiah's track team...favorite Bible verse, "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God's glory." (I Corinthians 10:31) because it focuses him on his motivation to excel.
