Casey Stone

Casey Stone begins her 31st year at Messiah University in 2024-25, serving the last 28 years as administrative assistant within the Athletics Department.

Stone manages a staff responsible for the day-to-day operations within the athletics department, focusing heavily on officials contracts, event contracts and student-athlete academic monitoring.

Stone is also responsible for Messiah’s summer sport camps payroll, and serves as the receptionist and office manager within the athletics department. She is vital in new staff transition and handles all computer-related issues throughout the department.

“Casey handles a variety of work that often might go unnoticed by outsiders, but she is a crucially important cog to everything that we do here,” said Jack Cole, Messiah Director of Athletics. “She loves athletics and the people associated with intercollegiate athletics at Messiah. We very much depend on her knowledge and her expertise in our daily activities, and the student-athletes with whom she interacts have a great deal of appreciation for her. Casey is a wonderful employee.”

Originally from nearby Mechanicsburg, Stone spent her first two years at Messiah working in word processing within the admissions department. Stone and her husband, Randy, reside in Dillsburg, Pa. with their daughter Natalie.
