Gehr joins the Messiah coaching staff after finishing his competitive career at Messiah in 2024 as a 2x NCAA All American and 3x NCAA Qualifier. Gehr was one of the most dominant wrestlers from the top position in Messiah history. He finished his career with a record of 134-29 (6th All Time) and amassed 44 pins (9th All Time) and 213 nearfalls (2nd All Time). During his competitive career he also found time to coach with Primus wrestling club and proved to be an excellent technician and motivator. Messiah Wrestling will benefit immensely from his presence in the wrestling room.
