Matt Rudisill started as a Graduate Assistant in Messiah University’s Athletic Communications office in August 2022. Rudisill comes to Messiah following the completion of his Broadcast Journalism degree at Penn State University. During his time at Penn State, Rudisill also completed a minor in Sports Studies and received a certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
Before joining Messiah’s Athletic Communications department, Rudisill interned for Penn State’s Strategic Communications office from the fall of 2021 until his graduation in 2022. While there, he worked dozens of NCAA Division I events, including the 2022 Women’s Frozen Four title game for women’s ice hockey. Rudisill also covered baseball for Onward State, the Penn State student-run blog, in the spring of 2021 and worked as the official scorekeeper for the State College Spikes during the summer of 2022.
Rudisill is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership.
Rudisill hails from Chester County, Pa. and graduated from Octorara Area High School in 2018.
