Jacob Sprengle is in his third year with the Messiah College baseball program. After two years as the graduate assistant coach, he has now transitioned to assistant coach for the 2016-17 season. Sprengle joined the staff after graduating from Messiah in 2014 with a degree in Mathematics with a Teaching Certification.
Sprengle was a four-year letter winner for Messiah, as an outfielder and first baseman. He earned all-conference honors his senior season for his play at first base, where he led the Falcons with .371 batting average, three home runs to go along with 28 runs batted in.
In May, Sprengle completed his Master’s Degree in Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletic Management at Messiah.
