Messiah University

The 2020-2021 season marks Malmberg's second year coaching at Messiah after two years as an assistant coach at the University of Dubuque in Iowa.

A two time NCAA Division III National Champion at 125 lbs. (2016, 2017), a four time National Finalist, a Messiah wrestling all-time wins leader, and the program record holder in all-time takedowns, Malmberg is the most accomplished wrestler in Messiah history. During his senior year, Malmberg placed in the Midlands champion, the prestigious Division I tournament.
