New Orleans, LA - On Monday, Mar. 7, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their All-Region selections for the 2015-16 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Season.
In order to earn All-Region honors, a student-athlete must be ranked in the top-five of an individual event or be a part of a top-three relay team in the region. Of the 1,128 student-athletes recognized, five of them compete for Messiah in the Mid-Atlantic Region. All of the following marks were set at the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 26-27, 2016:
Dane Cornelius - Cornelius took first in the heptathlon, scoring 4,011 points.
Tim Moses - Moses won gold in the pole vault, with a season best height of 16'11".
Marie Johnson - In the triple jump, Johnson placed second with a distance of 36'8.5", her best of the year.
Abby McMinn - McMinn won the gold in the 60 meter hurdles in her first year as a Falcon, finishing in 9.31 seconds.
Rebecca Querfeld - Querfeld won gold and set a new personal record in the heptathlon, scoring 2,915 points.

Tim Moses competing in the pole vault at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA.
