UPDATE: The Messiah men's and women's soccer teams will be recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 8, for winning the 2012 NCAA Division National Championships!
Grantham, PA - Messiah College Athletics is celebrating 40 Years in Brubaker Auditorium next Saturday, Dec. 8 as the men's and women's basketball teams take on Albright College in Commonwealth Conference play.
Brubaker Auditorium has been home to the Falcons' basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams for the last forty years. "The Bru"-- as the auditorium has often been refferred to-- has hosted many of the Falcons' historic performances since its completion in 1972.
On that night, Dec. 8, the Falcons would like to welcome all former players of the basketball, wrestling, and volleyball teams for an open, free-of-charge reception in Hitchcock arena. Light refreshments will be provided for those in attendance from 4:30 until 8:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Falcons have plenty of prizes and promotions in store throughout both the men's and women's contests.
If that isn't enough, it's also 70's night! Get out your best 70's garb to celebrate the 40th year of the Bru and come out to cheer on the Falcons against Albright! Game times are set for 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. for the women's and men's games, respectively.
