Hilton Head, SC - In their final spring break match, the Messiah Women's tennis team fell to the Macalaster College Scots by a score of 8-1 on Friday.
Doubles play began the match with Macalaster using impressive play to take each of the three doubles matches against Messiah.
Macalaster was able to claim wins at the number one through five singles spots and ride their strong play to a convincing win. At number five singles
Ellen Harpold was able to push her match into a third set super tiebreaker, but was not able to finish with a win.
The Falcons lone point against the Scots came at the number six singles spot where sophomore
Michelle Curtis dominated early and finished strong, picking up a 6-1, 2-6, 10-8 victory.
Messiah's next match will be on Monday, March 19th against Ursinus at 4:30 p.m.
