XML Box Score Middletown, PA - The Falcons used multiple offensive streaks in each the first and second halves on Wednesday to pull away from Penn State-Harrisburg, winning 77-45.

Taylor Miller and
Deanna Eyerkuss each scored 13 points and
Sienna Wisse finished with 12 points. Eyerkuss and Wisse both took just four shots from the field, but made all of them. Wisse continued with her perfect shooting, going 2-2 from three-point range as well as the free throw line.

The Falcons went up early on with a 13-4 lead, but the Nittany Lions came back to within three at 17-14. From there, Messiah called a timeout with 9:45 on the clock. Coming out of the break Miller made a jumper and the team never looked back, going on an 18-2 run. In that run, Miller scored seven of the first 13 points.

After Messiah made the score 35-16, over three minutes ticked off the clock before another point went on the board. Miller added two more to the Falcons' total before the half ended with the score at 37-22.Â

Messiah continued to build on their lead from the start of the second half with a 21-4 run to go up 54-27, doubling up the Nittany Lions. Penn State called a timeout at that mark, but it didn't stop the bleeding. Soon after, the Falcons held a 31-point lead at 60-29.

The largest lead of the game for the Falcons was achieved at 2:20 left to go in the game at 75-40. Messiah finished off the game with a 77-45 score and improved their overall record to 2-1. Penn State Harrisburg fell to 1-2 with the loss.

Chelsea Danel led the team in rebounding with 10, followed closely by
Hannah Nichols (9) and
Gillian Glackin (8). All-in-all, the Falcons collected 48 rebounds, shot 43% from the field, and 72% from the stripe.

The Nittany Lions attempted more field goals (68) but made 17 of them. Penn State also attempted 22 three-pointers to the Falcons' nine, but Messiah led on percentage, 44% to 23%.

Messiah will next travel to Washington-Adventist University this Saturday, Nov. 23, for a 7:00 p.m. start time.
