XML Box Score Grantham, PA – For the second-straight game Messiah College established an early lead and never looked back en route to a double-digit win. This time, the Falcons took down York College 75-63 to move to 4-0 on the season.

Brad Bolen led the Falcons with a game-high 20 points a team-high eight rebounds and
David Fernandez added 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Zac Hoy joined them in double-figures with 10 points while adding five rebounds and three assists.

A three-pointer by Bolen at the 18:00 mark of the first-half put Messiah up 6-5—a lead that they relented for just 16 more seconds the rest of the way. Throughout the first-half they nursed a small advantage before running off a 6-0 run to go up 39-28 with 2:35 left. All six of those points came on free-throws by Fernandez (four) and Bolen as Messiah overcame a 4-15 performance from behind the arc with an 11-15 showing at the charity stripe.

Messiah pushed their first-half lead to as many as 14 points, an advantage they held at the break (45-31).

In the second-half the Falcons never led by less than 10 points and increased their lead to as many as 20 points. Though they shot just 34.8 percent from the field for the game, Messiah took advantage of the Spartans' 18 turnovers to the tune of 23 points. They also outscored York 21-8 on second-chance points.

York's BJ Enck and Dalton Myers each scored 17 points to lead the Spartans with Enck grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds. With the loss they fall to 1-3.

Messiah will next play on Tuesday, Nov. 23 when they travel to Albright College to open up the Commonwealth Conference season.
