XML Box Score 2 Port St. Lucie, FL - Messiah College dropped the first of two games with Albright College on Monday by a score of 13-10. They exploded later in the evening to take game two, 8-3.

The Falcons seemed poised to take a win over the Lions after they took a 7-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning, but Albright answered immediately with a seven-run sixth inning to take control. Messiah scored three runs of their own in the sixth to pull within 11-10 only to fall 13-10.
Josh Good collected a two-run single to make it 7-4 Falcons, but a collection of spotty pitching and fielding contributed to the Lions big rally.
Messiah 8, Albright 3
Casey Ebersole and
Jon Heisey collected RBI hits in th early innings to give Messiah a 2-0 lead. Albright fought back to tie the game in the fifth inning, but John Giffitts' first career hit and RBI broke the tie in the sixth inning. The bats kept it going later in the inning with four more runs to blow the game open as they went onto an 8-3 win.
