Huntingdon, PA - The Eagles of Juniata flexed their wings on Thursday in a strong showing against Messiah and defeated their visitors 9-0.

Devin Esch played a terrific 7-6 second set but still fell 6-0, 7-6 (0-2) to Bryan Gregory, while Michael Brookhart, David Wichert, Peter Shuck, Dustin Innerst, and Michael Kovacs combined for eight more sets of at least 6-2. Shuck and Esch battled to a close 8-5 decision in the No. 2 doubles.

Messiah will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 29 when they host Elizabethtown College in the first of six-straight Middle Atlantic Conference match-ups.
