ResultsGrantham, PA - The women's tennis team suffered their second Commonwealth loss of the season Friday, losing 5-2 to Elizabethtown College (8-5, 3-0).

Ashli Livermore earned the sole singles point for the Falcons with her 6-1, 6-1 win over Adriana Scotto. No. 3
Eileen Barker was the only other Falcon to take a set from the Blue Jays, but was unable to win the match. Barker pushed Etown's Kaitlyn Pellegrino to the brink in the first set, forcing the tie break, but eventually lost the set 7-6 (7-4). Barker bounced back to win the second set 6-4, but was overtaken in the third 6-3.
In doubles action, No. 3
Hanna Lazio and
Sydney Schandel were the only match to finish prior to the rain. They earned the 8-6 win over Adriana Scotto and Nicole Snitzer. Neither the No. 1 nor the No. 2 doubles matches were able to finish, therefore the final score stands at 5-2 in Elizabethtown's favor.
The Falcons' (4-6, 2-2) next match will take place on Tuesday when they host Juniata College at 3:30 p.m.
