XML Box Score Elizabethtown, PA - Will Franken scored four times and Messiah College built an 8-3 lead in the third quarter en route to a 9-6 win at Elizabethtown College. Andrew Harris added three goals and both Nate Nester and Matthew Franken collected two assists in the win.

The win also ends a three-game slide the Falcons were on after previously losing to Commonwealth foe Widener University.

The two teams played relatively even through the first two quarters, but Messiah came alive in the third quarter. The Falcons scored four goals while holding Elizabethtown to zero.

During that time, Will Franken scored three of his goals and was assisted on the first two by his brother Matthew Franken. The goals for Will add up to 27 on the season as he leads the team. The two assists for Matthew are the first of his season and his career.

Tyler Goglio added one goal in the first quarter and marks his third-straight game of collecting at least a point. Harris' three goals account for his highest in one game this season.

The Falcons' defense was also instrumental in the win once again. Messiah held Elizabethtown scoreless on all six of their man-up opportunities in the game.

The Blue Jays were able to outshoot the Falcons by 20 (45-25) but Brooks Arnold was stonewalling between the pipes and made 21 saves. That number easily becomes his highest save total this season.

Brady Marburger had a high-percentage day from the faceoff dot, winning 10 of 16 restarts.

The victory pushed Messiah to an even 3-3 record in the Commonwealth and keeps them in fifth place in the conference. The Blue Jays dropped to 1-4 in the conference with the loss.

Messiah will next play a non-conference game at DeSales University on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
