ResultsReading, PA - The Messiah women's tennis team put up a terrific fight Saturday, but were unable to overtake the Commonwealth Conference leaders, Albright College (9-3, 2-0). The Falcons (3-5, 1-1) won three of their six singles matches, but couldn't get past the Lions in doubles play, losing 5-4.

Ashli Livermore and
Jennifer Kitlan brought home the lone victory over Melissa Carberry and Christina Peacock 8-1.
The Falcons return to the court on Tuesday when they host Lycoming College in their first home match of the season. The Commonwealth Conference showdown will begin at 4:00 p.m.
