ResultsGrantham, PA - In their first home match of the season, the women's tennis team shutout Lycoming College 9-0. The Falcons dropped four games in doubles play and only five games in singles play en route to the dominant win. The victory moves the Falcons to 2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference.

Eileen Barker moved through their singles matches without a blemish, winning 6-0, 6-0; while No. 4 Jen Kitlan and No. 6 Brittney Hickey dropped only one game to win 6-0, 6-1.

Erin Ipsen dropped two games in the opening set of singles play, but bounced back to take the second set 6-0. No. 5
Sydney Schandel also dropped only two games, capturing the 6-2, 6-0 win.
In doubles action, No. 1
Erin Ipsen and
Eileen Barker defeated Shannon Sheridan and Kathy Jacobs 8-3, while No. 2
Ashli Livermore and Jen Kitlan got the best of Abbey Smith and Miranda Giraldo 8-1.
Michelle Curtis and
Hanna Lazio dominated the No. 3 match, beating Sophie Herzing and Kendall Connors 8-0.
The Falcons return to action on Friday when they host Elizabethtown College at 2:00 p.m.
