Grantham, PA - Messiah College took all three doubles and four of six singles to win 7-2 over York College.

Ashli Livermore and Kelly Hopkins won 8-6 in an ultra-competitive No. 1 doubles match-up, with Hopkins then winning (6-4, 6-2) in the No. 2 singles. Sydney Schandel and Carly Dove also battled to a close doubles win, taking a 9-7 decision in the No. 3 match.

Along with Hopkins Jennifer Kitlan (6-1, 6-2), Schandel (7-5, 6-1), and Dove took the singles matches.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for the MAC Individuals Championship on Oct. 4-5.
