ResultsGrantham, PA - Messiah College dominated from start to finish and defeated Albright 7-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Michael Brookhart led the Falcons with a win at No. 1 doubles (8-6) but took a hard loss at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-7 [9-7], 7-5). It was the Falcons' only singles loss.
Tim Dunn, Brookhart's doubles partner, won his singles match 62, 6-1 and his teammates followed suit.
Devin Esch (6-1, 6-1),
Connor Graybeal (6-0, 6-1), and
Michael Kovacs (8-1) were especially dominant. Pete Shuck was also strong in a 7-5, 6-3 win.
Graybeal and Esch won the Falcons' other doubles match, 8-0.
The Falcons improved their Commonwealth record to 2-0 and will look to stay unbeaten when they travel to Lebanon Valley on Tuesday for a 4:00 match.
