ResultsGrantham, PA – Messiah was in total control this afternoon and able to coast to a comfortable 7-2 victory facing conference foe Lebanon Valley College.
Michael Brookhart let the way in singles for the Falcons, picking up a 6-1, 7-5 victory.
Brookhart's doubles partner,
Tim Dunn was especially dominant in his singles match, earning a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Devin Esch (6-1, 6-0),
Connor Graybeal (6-0, 6-1), and
Michael Kovacs (6-2, 6-3) also picked up decisive wins in singles competition for Messiah.
The Falcons continued their winning ways in doubles competition with the duo's of Brookhart/Dunn and Esch/Graybeal each winning their matches by a score of 8-2.
Peter Shuck and
Michael Kovacs battled but ultimately fell to the Dutchmen's Calabria and Manmiller by an 8-6 score.
The Falcons improved their record to 3-6 on the season and will look to pick up another when they travel to Scranton University this Saturday for a 4:00 match.
