Williamsport, PA – The Falcons pushed their win streak up to five this afternoon after they cruised to an easy 9-0 victory over host Lycoming. Michael Brookhart led the charge for Messiah as he made quick work of his opponent, winning 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles.
Tim Dunn and Peter Shuck coasted to victory as well, winning 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively.
Devin Esch (6-0, 6-0), Connor Graybeal (6-0, 6-2), and Michael Kovacs (6-1, 6-0) lost a combined three sets to the Warriors to round out singles play.
Double play was much of the same for the Falcons, as Esch and Graybeal swept their opponents in straight sets, 8-0, while Brookhart/Dunn and Shuck/Kovacs each won convincingly, 8-2.
As previously mentioned the Falcons won their fifth straight, improving their record to 5-6 on the season. They'll next host Stevenson University tomorrow, starting at 3:30 p.m.
