Williamsport, PA – The Falcons improved their record to 7-2 this afternoon, thanks to a dominating 9-0 victory over host Lycoming. Ashli Livermore led the charge for Messiah, making quick work of her Warrior opponent, winning 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles.
Jennifer Kitlan and Sydney Schandel flew past their opponents as well, winning 6-0, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-0, respectively.
Emily Doron (6-1, 6-1), Carly Dove (6-1, 7-5), and Meagan Scala (8-5) finished off their matches with relative ease as well to round out singles play.
The Falcons continued their dominance in doubles play, as Livermore and Kitlan swept their opponents in straight sets, 8-0, while the duos of Schandel/Doron (8-1) and Dove/Scala (9-7) each won handily.
Messiah will look to pick up another conference victory tomorrow when they travel to Stevenson, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
