Monday, Mar. 7 – Messiah 7, Bryn Mawr 2 | ResultsMessiah celebrated the Florida sunshine with a strong performance on Monday, defeating Bryan Mawr College by a 7-2 score.
The doubles combination of
Ashli Livermore-
Kelly Hopkins and
Sydney Schandel-
Meagan Scala each earned decisive wins to start Messiah off on a winning note.
In singles play, Messiah dominated by taking five of the six matches played.

Carly Dove,
Sydney Schandel, and
Meagan Scala all earned wins to seal the victory.
Dove's decision was highlighted by a 10-6 tiebreaker to complete her win.
The Falcons will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the University of Rochester at 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Mar. 8 - Rochester 9, Messiah 0 | ResultsThe Falcons were shut out in their second match of their Spring Break trip as they fell to Rochester 9-0.
The doubles combination of
Sydney Schandel and
Meagan Scala competed in the closest doubles competition of the day as they fell by an 8-5 final.
Messiah was also bested in singles play with
Ashli Livermore nearly capturing a victory. Livermore took the first game 7-5 and dropped the next two by scores of 6-3 and 10-2.
Messiah fell to 1-3 on the year with the defeat and will be back in action when they take on Moravian tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Wednesday, Mar. 9 - Messiah 6, Moravian 3 | ResultsThe Messiah women's tennis team picked up their second win of the Spring Break trip with a 6-3 victory over the Moravian Greyhounds on Wednesday morning. The Falcons went 4-2 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles play to secure the victory.

Kelly Hopkins (6-3, 6-0),
Kaitlyn Russell (6-3, 2-6, 10-7),
Carly Dove (6-3, 6-1), and
Sydney Schandel (6-2, 6-0) each picked up victories. While in doubles play the teams of

Carly Dove/
Kaitlyn Russell (8-4) picked up victories as well.
The win improves the Falcons record to 2-3 in the 2015-16 season. After an off day tomorrow, the Falcons will be back in action on Friday afternoon when they take on the Wheaton Thunder at 12:00 p.m.
Friday, Mar. 11 - Wheaton 9, Messiah 0 | ResultsThe Falcons dropped a match to Wheaton on Friday afternoon to finish their spring break trip.
Kaitlyn Russell and
Carly Dove battled to an 8-3 loss at No. 2 doubles, but otherwise Messiah was overmatched from start to finish.
Messiah returns home this weekend and willl next play on Saturday, Mar. 19 when they host King's College at 12:00 p.m.
