Joseph Saufley smacked a two-run, two-out triple to left center to give Messiah the one-run lead.
Quinton Kuntz started for the Falcons and pitched five quality innings before giving way to
Zach Luman. Luman picked up the win in relief and
Drew Betz earned his first-career save, pitching two scoreless innings.
By collecting the win, Luman improves his record to 3-0 on the young season and has collected three of the Falcons' four wins on the mound.
Josh Good knocked in the only other run for Messiah with an RBI single that drove home Saufley in the early innings.
Messiah will next take the field tomorrow when they square off against the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg at 8:00 p.m. in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.
