Grantham, PA – The Messiah College men's tennis team handled the Lycoming Warriors on Tuesday afternoon, winning by a convincing score of 9-0.
The Falcons didn't waste any time early in the match, as they won all three doubles matches easily. The
Tim Dunn and
Connor Graybeal defeated their opponents 8-0, while the duos of
Devin Esch/
Austin Warren and
Dustin Innerst/
Blake Ross each won 8-1.
The men continued their dominance in singles play, winning six out of six.
Tim Dunn,
Devin Esch,
Austin Warren, and
Blake Ross each cruised to easy victories, while
Dustin Innerst won a tighter match of 6-2, 7-5.
Connor Graybeal had the Falcon's closest match of the day in the number two spot, winning 7-6 (7-5), 7-5.
With today's win the Falcons improve to 5-6 on the season, and will next compete this Saturday (4/16) when they host the Alvernia University Crusaders at Criste Courts.
