Annville, PA – The Falcons of Messiah College traveled to Lebanon Valley College on Saturday afternoon and defeated the Dutchmen by a 9-0 score.
Messiah dominated the day, winning all three doubles and all six single matches. Each of the Falcon's three doubles teams cruised to quick wins, with Tim Dunn and Connor Graybeal winning 3-0, Devin Esch and Austin Parker winning 6-0, and Dustin Innerst and Blake Ross winning 3-0.
Connor Graybeal had the closest singles match of the day, winning with scores of 7-5, 7-6, and 7-1. Blake Ross/Caleb Hays had the next closest match (6-4, 6-3), but Tim Dunn (6-2, 6-2), Devin Esch (6-2, 6-2), Austin Warren (6-2, 6-0), and Dustin Innerst (6-1, 6-2) all finished with little trouble.
Messiah will be back in action on April 6 when they Elizabethtown College, with the match beginning at 3:30 PM.
