Annville, PA – Like the men, the women's tennis team swept the Lebanon Valley Dutchman on Saturday afternoon. With the final score at 9-0, the Falcons improved to 3-4 on the season.
The duo of Ashli Livermore and Kelly Hopkins picked up the Falcon's first doubles victory by a tight 8-5 score. Carly Dove and Kaitlyn Russell also won by a score of 8-5, and Sydney Schandel and Emily Doron won by a comfortable margin of 8-3.
Kaitlyn Russell (6-3, 6-4) and Emily Doron (7-5, 6-3) had the closest singles matches of the day, while Ashli Livermore (6-0, 6-0), Kelly Hopkins (6-4, 6-2), Carly Dove (6-2, 6-2), and Sydney Schandel (6-1, 6-0) all handled their opponents.
The Falcons will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Elizabethtown at 3:30 p.m.
