Frederick, MD - Messiah's men's tennis team continued its success this spring with their defeat of Hood College on Wednesday afternoon. The victory brings their winning streak to six matches, with their last loss coming back in mid-March on their Spring Break trip.
The Falcons started the day strong in doubles competition, letting up a total of only five points across the three matches.

Austin Warren each won 8-2, while
Dustin Innerst and
Blake Ross won 8-1.
Tim Dunn saw the Falcons only defeat of the day in his 4-6, 6-0 (8-10) defeat in the number one singles spot. Every other Messiah competitor found victory easily, with
Dustin Innerst's 6-0, 6-0 defeat being the highlight.
Devin Esch (6-1, 6-1),
Connor Graybeal (6-2, 6-1),
Austin Warren (6-1, 6-2), and
Blake Ross (6-1, 6-2) followed suit.
The Falcons remain undefeated in MAC Commonwealth play (8-6, 5-0) and currently sit in second place behind Stevenson (10-5, 5-0) in the standings. They will next compete on Saturday when they travel to Glenside, PA to take on the Arcadia Knights, who sit right behind the Falcons in the MAC Commonwealth standings in third (8-8, 4-1).
