Glenside, PA - The Messiah College women's tennis team saw little trouble in their 8-1 defeat of the Arcadia Knights. The Falcons lost only one match en route to their fifth straight victory.
The Falcons' began the rain delayed match with their successful doubles play, winning all three matches.

Sydney Schandel won by a convincing score of 8-2, while the duos of

Kaitlyn Russell and
Meagan Scala/
Robin Schwarzmann both earned their 8-4 wins.
Kelly Hopkins played the number one spot in singles in the absence of usual number one player
Ashli Livermore, and played to an easy 6-2, 6-1 win. Caroly Dove,
Sydney Schandel, and
Meagan Scala each won 6-1, 6-0, and
Robin Schwarzmann suffered the Falcons only loss of the day with a tough 0-6, 1-6 defeat.
Today's win improves the Falcons record to 8-5 (6-0), with their next batch of competition coming next on Tuesday when the travel to Reading, PA to take on Albright College.
