Grantham, PA – Messiah women's tennis cruised into the MAC Commonwealth tournament with a decisive win over the Stevenson University Mustangs. Their 9-0 win saw seven out of eight shutout matches, with one allowing only two and the other a forfeit.
The number one doubles spot was where the Mustangs scored their only points of the day.
Ashli Livermore and
Kelly Hopkins defeated their opponents 8-2 in the match. The duos of

Carly Dove and
Sydney Schandel/
Emily Doron both earned the 8-0 shutout victories.
Singles play is where the Falcons sealed the deal, as they did not allow a point.

Emily Doron won in the number six spot via forefeit.
The Falcons have secured the number one seed in the MAC Commonwealth tournament, and will host the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen on Tuesday May 3 at 3:30pm in the semifinal round.
