Grantham, PA - Messiah College lost to the Elizabethtown College Blue Jays on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 7-2. The Falcons only saw two victories on the day, one in singles and one in doubles.

The Falcons fell behind early in doubles only winning one of three. The tandem of Sydney Schandel and Emily Doron claimed the tight victory by a score of 9-8 (8-6).

Later in singles competition, Ashli Livermore led the Falcons with a win in the No. 1 spot by a score of 7-6 (9-7) and 6-1, and Emily Doron fought to a close 6-2, 7-5 loss in the No. 6 spot.

With the loss the Falcons fall to 3-5, and will next play on Saturday, Apr. 9 when they travel to Reading, PA to face MAC Commonwealth foe Albright College.
