Grantham, PA - Messiah women's tennis team rolled to a 5-0 victory in the MAC Commonwealth semi-final round on Tuesday afternoon.
Ashli Livermore lead the Falcons in both singles and doubles, earning the 6-0, 6-0 singles victory and an 8-1 victory with partner
Kelly Hopkins.
Joining Livermore in her two victory day was
Carly Dove, who got the 6-2, 6-3 victory in the number four singles spot and the 8-2 doubles victory with partner
Kaitlyn Russell. Dove's single match victory was also the match that clinched the victory for the Falcons. Messiah's other match win came from
Sydney Schandel and
Emily Doron's 8-3 doubles win in the number three spot.
The Falcons will host the number two seed Alvernia in the MAC Commonwealth championship on Saturday afternoon, where they will play for their first outright MAC Commonwealth title in program history.
