Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Messiah College men's tennis team moved to 9-5 overall after defeating King's College (PA) on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons defeated the Monarchs 6-3 and picked up their eighth-straight victory of the season.
In doubles play, Messiah won two out of the three matches.
Tim Dunn and
Connor Graybeal (No. 1 doubles) had an exciting match and picked up the 9-8 (7-3) victory over their opponents.
Austin Warren and
Keller Martin (No. 3) were also victorious and won by a score of 8-3.
Alex Mantsevich and
Blake Ross (No.2) dropped their match 8-5 to King's.
Messiah won four out of six singles matches to come out victorious over the Monarchs.

Austin Warren (6-3, 7-6 (7-1)),
Alex Mantsevich (6-3, 6-3), and
Blake Ross (6-1, 6-0) competed and were succesful in single's action.
Connor Graybeal (6-4, 6-4) and
Keller Martin (7-5, 6-1) battled hard but fell to their opponents.
The Falcons look to continue their win streak this weekend as they host Alvernia University on Saturday, Apr. 29. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m.
