Chester, PA - The Messiah College men's tennis team finished their conference play undefeated after sweeping the Alvernia Crusaders 9-0 on Saturday. Messiah will enter the MAC Commonwealth tournament as the number one seed and will take on Arcadia Univeristy (No. 4 seed) on Tuesday. After picking up their ninth-straight victory, the Falcons finished with an overall record of 10-5 and were 7-0 in the conference.
In doubles play, Messiah was unstoppable.
Devin Esch and
Austin Warren (No. 2 doubles) didn't give up a game and defeated their opponents 8-0.
Tim Dunn and
Connor Graybeal picked up an 8-5 victory and
Alex Mantsevich and
Blake Ross won 8-4.
In singles play, the Falcons won all of their matches in two sets.

Devin Esch (6-1,6-1)
Austin Warren (6-1, 6-1),
Alex Mantsevich (6-1, 6-2) and
Blake Ross (6-1, 7-5) were all successful in each of their matches.
Messiah will host Arcadia University in the MAC Commonwealth semifinal on Tuesday, May 2.
