Grantham, PA - The Messiah College men's tennis team dominated the Arcadia Knights on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons won all nine matches and moved to 5-5 overall and 3-0 in the MAC Commonwealth conference.
Tim Dunn and
Connor Graybeal were challenged but held on to an 8-4 victory in doubles play.
Devin Esch and
Austin Warren were also victorious, taking down the Knights 8-2.
Alex Mantsevich and
Blake Ross also competed in doubles action and picked up an impressive 8-0 win.
In singles play, Messiah again was unstoppable.
Tim Dunn (6-4, 6-2),
Devin Esch (6-3, 6-0),
Austin Warren (6-2, 6-1),
Alex Mantsevich (8-3), and
Blake Ross (8-2) played well and picked up wins for the Falcons.
Connor Graybeal had the match of the day and had to battle for every point. He won 7-6 (7-4) and 7-6 (10-8) over Arcadia's Wesley Wei.
Messiah will be back in action on Apr. 12 when they host Hood College at 3:30 p.m.
